HIMMEL & HÖLLE
The soil for our Zweigelt Hölle vineyard is loam, loess and gravel. The name Hölle, German for hell, has been given because the vines are planted facing south and hence receive a lot of sunlight.
The colour of this red is deep ruby. The nose opens slowly to dark cherry aromas and mild wooden spices. A full, complex body develops silky tannin and smooth acidity on the palate and a dense, powerful finish.
Great match with a fine roast beef, tangy game or pasta dishes.
